Feb-21-02, 01:00 PM (EST) "Thanks to Okrasa Ghia for Xtracks2" Okrasa, you are a genius!!The new modular switches are incredible. The only bad part is now I will have to go back through my route and rip up all the old track that was "as close as it could be" so I can now make it the way it should be. Horace told me I have 197 pieces of dynamic track (and my route is no where near finished), I'll bet I can reduce that by half now. Thanks again!!!Jeff Leslie

Feb-22-02, 11:21 AM (EST) 1. "RE: Thanks to Okrasa Ghia for Xtracks2" Hi all, I am a newbie from Italy.
While joining you, John, in crediting Okrasa, I have a problem with 3 degrees modular left point: it does not appear in my Route Editor track list menu. I have discovered that the filea1tPnt3dLftMnl.thmdoes not exist in the GLOBAL folder, even after two reinstallations of Xtracks: has anyone experimented something similar?Cheers

I'm building a narrow gauge route and it would be next to impossible without xtracks.
Will need to D/L v2 this weekend. Tighter narrow gauge tracks were in the works, hopefully they are in this release. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Feb-23-02, 10:47 AM (EST) 3. "RE: Thanks to Okrasa Ghia for Xtracks2" Hi! Yes, I want to join the thanks to Okrasa, this pack is hard to live without!!I unfourtanly have a problem.. I am working on a fictius route with Swedish "malmbana" as tema for the route. The route is a modified St. Anton route, and here I think my problem is.. I have problem with the dynamic track, since the original routes are compressed and therefore the Horace is not able to modify the entrys in the world files. I have tryed to manually change the dynamic track, and it seems first that this was do-able. The first few tracks was possible to change, and now they where working. But when continuing replacing the tracks in RE, it crashes. It seems that the RE do not accept some joint points between different track where one of them is the dynamic track. So, key problem is, as I understand: How will I make the compressed world files decompressed, so Horace could modify? Or, any other suggestion?Message Areas - "Thanks to Okrasa Ghia for Xtracks2" – image 1

Feb-23-02, 03:43 PM (EST) 5. "RE: Thanks to Okrasa Ghia for Xtracks2" Thanks, yes I started there, but I did not realy get a proper solution... Maybe I m stupid... What I am doing now is to identify wich worldfile I am working in, and then in ascii editor deleting the dynamic tracks and then adding a new one in RE..cheers,Mats Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
