Feb-17-02, 04:15 PM (EST) "Attention! Tapiola Regional Commissioners Speed Up TRR Order" In an unprecidented action, the TRC sped up the order for locomotives for the TRR. The SEVEN newly painted locomotives will be delivered on Tuesday (if Nels keeps to his usual schedule).The SEVEN locomotives constitute the newest upgrade to the TRR (Tapiola Railroad), and are made up of FIVE SD40-2s (Model by Jason Dilworth, Physics by Chris Lee, Lights by Tim Kent, 3rd party contributions: Werger (physics)); ONE SW-1200 (Model by Kevin Combs), and ONE SW-1500 (Model by Mark Toland). All painting was done by the shops of Paul Fowler.These seven locomotives also have work orders already for them--for the SW-1200 (number 1202), a major sorting into consists job; for the SD40-2s (numbers 4073, 4076, 4080, 4087, and 4089), a run from the south end of Tapiola to the north end, picking up consists on the way; and for the SW-1500 (number 1597), the dubious honor of the weekly supply run to Quincy Mining Company, aka Helvetti.The locomotives and work orders are arriving in two shipments, under the names of tfd_TA1a.zip (8.5 MB) and tfd_TA1b.zip (7.7 MB). In order for the work to be done, both shipments have to be accepted. To accept your shipment, go to http://www.train-sim.com/login.htm and enter your customer number. Then accept delivery of the shipment.It is the hope of the TRC that TRR will make good use of these locomotives, put them to work so the TRC can get the return on their investment.Below are pictures of the locomotives and some pictures of the work orders.1202:
