Feb-16-02, 09:48 AM (EST) 1. "RE: Sniper or DOS smart personell needed here" Hey Tim,
I had the same problem. The Installation program did not find the MSTS Location so after emailing the author, this is the procedure. Click on to the .... ,next to where the installation directory would normally be, and select the "Brouse" Option, then you can select the MSTS Directory where MSTS is installed, go all the way to the Routes Directory. This will put the necessary files into the Corp Directory under "Routes. Then move the corpbuild.bat into the Routes Directory and the click onto corpbuild.bat and it should work. At least mind did. The are only two playable routes and they are both Explore type files. If you backup the consist in the second selection you run off of the tract, interesting. Like the author said it is not finished

Feb-16-02, 06:03 PM (EST) 5. "RE: Sniper or DOS smart personell needed here" Hey Tim, I believe you have to have the installer in the ROUTES folder instead of the actual Cow Creek folder. I too had this problem and was corrected after I moved it.Has anyone else had problems logging on and trying to post?? I couldn't upload the AC pics at all today.Brian E. Bundridge

Feb-16-02, 09:21 PM (EST) 7. "RE: Sniper or DOS smart personell needed here" This route installed fine on my Windows 98 system. I assume you're running Windows XP or 2000. I've never seen xcopy produce the question you're getting.By looking at the bat file there are two types of calls to xcopycall xcopy usa2\shapes\*.S .\corp01\shapes /s /y
and
call xcopy usa2\shapes\bridge2_usa.s .\corp01\shapes\ /s/y/eNotice in the second one the target shapes directory is terminated with a backspace. That is the more correct way of doing it.I would suggest making a copy of the bat file, fixing all the shape entries entries that aren't terminated by a backslash by adding it. Also fix any other target directories that aren't terminated by the backslash such as xcopy calls 3 and 4. Then run the new bat file.I would also suggest deleting the current installation of CCC because if you specified "File" to the xcopy question, that may have screwed up the installation. Feb-17-02, 08:07 AM (EST) 9. "RE: Sniper or DOS smart personell needed here" Sorry, I may have mislead you a bit. I didn't need to make any changes to the bat file to get it to run.If you're using Windows 98, you shouldn't get that prompt.I've checked the directory structure that the installer creates and everything looks fine. If you're getting the prompt about file name or directory name, I think it indicates you're running the bat file from the wrong location. If I try to run it from within the CORP01 directory I get the same prompt as your screen capture shows.Make sure you run it from the directory above CORP01 (ROUTES). I would suggest moving the bat file rather than copying it so you can't run it from within CORP01.
