Feb-15-02, 08:50 AM (EST) 1. "RE: Sorry haven't been responding in a while I also read a message" Are you talking about my NEC extension with the 30th Street Station Yard and going north to the North Philadelphia station on Broad Street in North Philadelphia Stmbuzz? If so I wasn't planning on just ending this project at the North Philadelphia station I am actually planning on going up to Penn Station in NYC and then Boston and Albany depending on how long it takes. My plan right now though is to do a section, and then release an installment of my project. That way everyone can be enjoying the route as I am working on it. My first release is to the North Philadelphia station because I considered it a major advance over the original that came with the program. The mere fact that it has the 30th Street Station yard with 29 tracks running through it and will allow for alot of interesting switching activities makes it a huge improvement over the original. I don't intend to stop with this installment however The next two Installments I have planned will be to the PA/NJ border and then to Trenton NJ. If you would like to help me, I would love to have your help and expertise. Maybe we could work on it jointly somehow. I don't want to turn it completely over to you however since I want to be an active part in the creation of this route. But I would love to have your help on the project if you would want to. I also need an activity designer since I have no clue how to make activities in MSTS. Maybe you could also help with doing that if you have the skills to do so. If you are interested email me at gxm149@psu.edu Thanks for your interest in the project Right now I have one of the guys at the NALW going over the extension, checking it and pointing out some minor errors for me to fix in order to make it as realisitc as possible given MSTS's limitations before I upload it. Once I am done having them test it and polishing it up, then I will upload it to the site. Hopefully early next week if all goes well. So the first installment is coming real soon. But this is not the end of the project Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
