Feb-07-02, 11:56 AM (EST) "LTV signs-change route name" I have the ABACUS LTV set. The route is good, but it looks like, in the process of getting it ready for release, some things were removed.I've already sent a message to ABACUS asking that a patch be produced to put in the mileposts, W signs at grade crossings,
and a couple of other things. Since this may never happen, I thought I'd work on it a bit myself. I made a copy of the LTV route and moved it to another partition, in case I really mess things up.So far things are fine, although the graphics in the booklet are a bit weak as far as showing exactly where to place mileposts, the something I'm doing will at least be satisfactory to me. I had to grab a couple of texture files and move them to the new route texture folder, and so on, but overall it's pretty easy work.I'd like to put my original LTV back in the Routes folder, but I'd like my edited LTV to have a unique name in the list box (like MY LTV), so I can select either one when I am using MSTS.Can someone tell me which file in MSTS or LTV to edit so I can have both routes in my route folder without a duplicate name in the list box? Thanks,Ted Kessel Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

After you have copied the whole route including Subfolders to a new folder:
Change all the file that start with LTV_Mining to a new name.
Now open the .trk file with Wordpad and change the RouteID to a new unique name.
Change the header of all Activities to this new Route ID.Dick van den Hoven
