Feb-07-02, 00:36 AM (EST) "Donner Pass" I was looking for any information on the Donner Pass route that I read about a few months ago. I just searched the threads for any news and could not find any other than the original post. I would also have to say the whole msts community must be signed on because it took quite sometime. Feb-07-02, 02:13 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Donner Pass" What questions have you? Here's where I stand, Starting ~3 miles SW of Roseville CA to ~5 miles East of Sparks NV.Basic terrain 90% complete including the UTM zone crossover, not including lo_tiles
Basic track 70% - Roseville to Boca minus some crossovers I can't locate in the photographs - current track infrastructure i.e., no track around summit tunnel, etc
Rail objects (Mileposts, signals, bridges, etc) 0%
Natural objects (ground textures, tress, etc) 0%
Non-rail objects (buildings, roads, etc) 0%And it's ~340MB (47MB compressed)Anyone care to assist with the later three items.Richard Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Feb-11-02, 04:03 PM (EST) 7. "RE: Donner Pass" Which grades? Nothing is over 1.350 degrees, most less than than. According to my gradient charts nothing is more than .15 degrees off end to end.Richard Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Feb-12-02, 04:15 AM (EST) 8. "RE: Donner Pass" I've taken Amtrak from oakland to reno, and the grades are pretty steep. Leaving oakland, we had a SD45t-2 on the point. I guess for additional help. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
