Jan-26-02, 04:43 PM (EST) "Question on Microdem "DEM too large to load" Error" It is my understanding from using "The New Microdem!" instructions that, prior to creating an XYZ file, I need to merge the relevant DEM quads. It is here that I keep running against the "DEM too large to load" error. The route I'm trying to create doesn't seem to me to be particularly large - 27 quads (it's in the Columbia Gorge area between Oregon and Washington). I'm not crossing any 6-deg division.I have 1 GB of RAM, so I question whether it's a issue of my not having enough memory. Are there any adjustment to settings I need to make to handle the merge of 25-30 quads?Has anyone else run across this error? If so, were you able to get around it? How?Thanks,Wes
