Jan-23-02, 05:53 AM (EST) 6. "RE: needs anybody a looping?" How did you get the train on the OUTSIDE? did you run them upside down into the loop?
I expected them to be on the inside....
Technically it's not a loop now, it's a bunt.
I've been thinking of trying that ever since I read how to beat the 3 degree elevation limit, but you beat me to it..

Jan-23-02, 10:01 AM (EST) 7. "RE: needs anybody a looping?" Hi!Ok here now the explenation:you can create gradients between -90 and 90 degrees. when you exceed 90 degrees, than MSTS flips it over. so 91 degrees become -89 degrees and vice versa. that's why the train is on top of the looping. when an engine or waggon hits 90 degrees it is turned to the other side, like the track, which switches over.
that looks really strange, but if your coublings can handle the forces you are able to cross the looping.you will need 60-100 mph, depend how heavy the train is. the 7000 series works pretty good .momocat Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
