Jan-22-02, 07:52 AM (EST) "Problem with zipping files twice. Is there a work a round?" When I was doing Whitefish I zipped the route file Whitefish. When I then unzipped it all the subdirectories were in the correct place with correct files. To upload Whitefish to this site I zipped Whitefish and then had to put a readme file and zip it again. This second zipping put all the files into one directory and removed the subdirectories. Am I right about this and is there a work a round? This seems to be causing people a lot of trouble.

But I have to bring something else to your attention.First of all, thanks for the great route.I posted this in an other reply.
You have left all the *_e.raw and *_n.raw files in the Tile folder. These files are not necessary, MSTS can generate these files when the route is run the first time.
By removing these files, the second download file is reduced to about 47Mb.In the World folder there were several .bk files. These can (must) be removed too. These are backups from the Route Editor and not necessary. For your problem, when you try to make an zip executable, do you have the same problem? WinZip offers the possibility to create a self extractor with maintaining the original path and folders. When you zip such a self extractor does it cause the same problem?Well for me, it isn't a problem at all. I always unzip into a temp folder and copy from there. This way I can controll the whole process and sees what happens.Dick van den Hoven

Hi,Well I checked the Zip files, but with me the folder structure was still there in the second Zip file.Another point that I found, was that you also need to copy the textures from the Template Route. By not copying the Template route, you get that missing Tree1.And using the EZStuff here is far a way to heavy.
I have now the route up and running with the textures of the Template and USA2 routes.Makes some hundreds Mb difference to the solution with EZStuff.By the way, still a great and nice route. Dick van den Hoven
