Jan-19-02, 06:34 PM (EST) "placing points in route editor" I am fairly new to route editor and have just started creating my own route. Are there more than 3 points/switches to choose from and if so where do I find these points? Can I make points from dynamic track? Can I change the curve on a point?I hope someone can answer. Thanks Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

>these points? All the switches are available in the Track Objects section in the Route Editor for placement in your route. There are definitely more than 3, including yard switches, 10 degree switches, 5 degree switches and some very Looooooooooooong switches. There is also a 10 degree wye.>Can I make

There are some additional switches available via the downloads page but there are still some incompatibilities with these. This should be corrected soon. I suggest you open one of the default routes in the route editor and look at how the track objects are placed. You can select a switch or other piece of track, then right click it to see its properties. This will give you the actual name of the piece so you can then select the same pieces for specific uses in your route.

It may be a help for you if you copy or print the track section list in this site:-

There are also more useful items on other pages.
