Jan-17-02, 01:27 AM (EST) "To Show or Not to Show Track Ballast on Bridges " I have been trying to solve this problem for a while and I found the answer so I though I would share it. Sorry if this is not new news!!!!The way to get the ballast to show or not to show on a bridge is to change the object terrain property.To do this:
Right click on the bridge object.
Select "properties".
Click on the "General(cont.)" tab.
Check the "terrain object box." (to Show track ballast)
or
Uncheck the "terrain object box". (to not Show track ballast)

"RE: To Show or Not to Show Track Ballast on Bridges " I guess that there are a lot of things that some of us "old timers" take for granted that the new guys don't know about. I've done about 50% of my bridges this way. By the way if you adjust the height of your bridge carefully under your track you can have rails and ties display, but no ballast roadbed.
