Jan-14-02, 04:24 AM (EST) "What happened to OkrasaGhia?" What happened to the person whose user name is OkrasaGhia? I have not heard from him for more than a week. I sent him an E-Mail message a few days ago and he didn't reply to it. He is supposed to work on new version of XTracks that will work around the limitations of TSECTION.DAT file. Jeffrey. Posted last forum message this Friday!Got your track section working. Tried making an empty tunnel section but you can't have it snap to the other without any track on it. A solution would be to make sort of a buffer like the a1tbuffer with a very short track section on it but I don't know if that's a good idea. Also you could make road pieces that look similar to the track pieces, once the first piece is adjusted in place the other pieces will snap in place. The XTracks utility is nearly finished for beta testing, will send it out during this week.
I think it is working properly now but it has to be tested by others to confirm this.

Jan-14-02, 12:23 PM (EST) 2. "RE: What happened to OkrasaGhia?" I made two subway tunnels with short track sections. One tunnel is three-track wide and 88.25 meters long, and it has two track sections placed in middle that are 8.25 meters long. This tunnel is for double-crossovers that are three-track wide. Another tunnel is three-track wide and 60 meters long, and it has two track sections placed at one end that are 20 meters long. This tunnel is for where two tracks split into three tracks using one 10-degree left, one 10-degree right, and one 10-degree "Y" switches (points). How can I create a subway tunnel with track sections for double-crossovers that are two-track wide? Jeffrey. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jan-15-02, 12:23 PM (EST) 3. "RE: What happened to OkrasaGhia?" I'm not quite sure what your question really is (though it's plain enough in writing). For the switches to behave like tunnels they need to be marked as tunnels in the tsection.dat which means there needs to be special tunnel switches, you can't use the ordinary switches and expect them to behave like tunnels.
