Look under properties on the route folder, if it says read-only, turn that off. I will warn you that I am new to this, and can not be trusted entirely. Doing that fixed my problem. If not, there is the possibility that a word processer used to edit the .trk file might not have saved it in Unicode format. Check and be sure it is truly a Unicode format file.If that doesn't fix it, carefully check the coordinayes you rntered for the start tile. They must not be geographic coordinates, but rather specific x-y tile coordinates.Bill Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Thx for your time , yes exactly it is correct , i have edited the values with Notpad instead of RGE,is ther any way i can convert it to Unicode format.I tried with otehr Word tools to sav as unicode ,but still error message. any help is highly appreciated Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

It will also read text files but can save as a Unicode text file.MS Word is also an excellent way to save a text file as Unicode. If you don't have either of the above, do a search on Unicode files in the forum library. I remember seeing other users with similar problems in the past few months.
