Jan-01-02, 06:59 AM (EST) "Grain Tower!!!" I'm building some buildings with the latest free version of 3DCanvas including this grain tower:but since the newest "freeware" (non-pro) version of 3DCanvas lacks a certain key feature, I can't export it as a MSTS object. So is there someone with 3DCanvas Pro who can convert this to a MSTS shape. I'm also not sure about the scaleing, but the main tower should be about 150' (50 meters) tall, the larger silos need to be about 100' (30 meters) tall and 40' (12 meters) in diameter. Also, if someone has the old beta version of 3DCanvas with the MSTS export for static objects, could you please send it to me. I'm CAD/CAM by profession, so stuff like this is easy for me. My plan was to do just one silo and allow the user to combine them to the size they need.I'm also making the square building (the mill) and then the conveyor house on top. That way then can be kitbashed. Yours is quite impressive.David Klemm

Most of the small towns in central Illinois would have a much smaller grain elevator complex. As I said, typically! In Taylorville Illinois ADM has a large complex like the one modeled.

Another person was able to import for me by upgrading to the latest version. I already had a second building done and most of the work for a third done here yesterday.
