Dec-18-01, 03:09 PM (EST) "Signals On The Marias Pass." I have placed a few BNSF signals in places that I like along the Marias Pass route.I was able to link the signals without any problems. Now here's the problem. When playing the game the track monitor will show a clear block with the green dot however when looking at the signal from the cabview the signal shows red.If I'm taking a diverging route I get the appropiate signal indication in the track monitor and from the cabview. What am I doing wrong here. All help is appreciated... It could be any of a number of things. If you try to pass the signal while in the "problem" state, does the activity fail, or does it let you go by (assuming this is an absolute signal). Did you place a signal at this spot, then delete it and place another without an interim save? Are you 100% positive you have the links set up correctly? Dec-19-01, 08:33 AM (EST) 2. "RE: Signals On The Marias Pass." I think you hit the problem on the head.I'm not sure what an interim save is but that's what I was doing( deleting and replacing signals ).As I stated in my first message,I could pass the signal if it was all red( not permissive )and the game would not crash. The track monitor would show the block clear but looking from the cab view the signal would be red. However diverging routes would show the proper indication. What do you mean when you mentioned the interim save. That's a first for me.Thanks for your help... Dec-19-01, 03:04 PM (EST) 3. "RE: Signals On The Marias Pass." I meant doing a save inbetween deleting a signal and adding a new one. You don't need to do that, but if you had, it would eliminate one potential cause for this problem. Since, until you do a save, the editor has to keep track of things in memory, it might have messed up with the delete/add thing. Not that there are bugs in the editor...I've answered your e-mail with some things to check. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
