Dec-17-01, 11:01 AM (EST) "Switch Lamp" There's been some talk about working switch lamps. Here's one that works:Message Areas - "Switch Lamp" – image 1
3/4 front and top view.Lamp and flags rotate with switch position. Lamps light at night. Place like a signal near switch, scripted not to interfere with 'normal' signals.
I will upload it tonight as a stand alone, and include it with any further signal uploads from my shop.Hank Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-17-01, 11:51 AM (EST) 1. "RE: Switch Lamp" Hank;
I haven't gotten into the process of adding signals to the IC route yet. Haven't had the time to learn them yet. This is a great addition. Are you saying I can place these next to a switch and they will work without having the other signals for block control? ThanksDavid Klemm

Dec-17-01, 01:16 PM (EST) 2. "RE: Switch Lamp" Yes, it will work without any other signals in the route. Just place the red pyrimid near the red vertical line that marks a switch, but on the side away from the switch points. It needs the link set on the diverging track. I'll include a diagram in the release.

Dec-17-01, 02:28 PM (EST) 4. "RE: Switch Lamp" Hi,Well thanks Hank, that is exact what I was looking for and it seems to work in the same way as the German switch stands.
Saves me a bunch of work Glad to see that they are there. Is it possible to make a low version? I have seen pictures of yards with low versions.Dick van den Hoven Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-17-01, 05:04 PM (EST) 5. "RE: Switch Lamp" Dick;Could probably just lower these until the triangle part is below ground and that would leave the light part above?Just a thought I had. My wife is not around so I can do this!David Klemm

Dec-18-01, 03:20 AM (EST) 6. "RE: Switch Lamp" This would be to the creator of the Central Wisconsin...(Hope he sees it) If possible to get a low switch stand like this.....ALL Switches in Badger Ordinance STILL have these to this day. It would make a helluva addition!!! (If you wanted to add them...If I could help you with it I would, but I don't know didily about adding this stuff. BTW...GREAT globe switchstands!!!! Can't wait to see these used on routes!!! ESPECIALLY if they are lit at night!!Kelley Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
