Dec-15-01, 04:05 PM (EST) "Yard Light Timing" Where do I locate the line of program that will allow me change the timing cycle for yard lights, spots and street lights. I'd like to have them operate earlier in the evening and until dawn.
Thanks in advance.... Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-23-01, 01:35 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Yard Light Timing" I'd like them to work right myself. Look at the lights. They make a spot on the ground but illuminate nothing inbetween including the bulb... Doodie code.-Andy

Dec-23-01, 01:48 PM (EST) 2. "RE: Yard Light Timing" I guess they are ornamental... but at least the yard light tower illuminates the switches. I've also noticed that the SPOTLIGHT (not the streetlight) taken from the USA2 route stays on 24 hrs. I'd like to have the yard lights come on at 5 or 6PM and go off about the same time the next morning. Now they seem to come on around 10:00 and go off at 4 AM..... there must be a line of programming that allows us to reset this.

Dec-23-01, 08:45 PM (EST) 3. "RE: Yard Light Timing" LAST EDITED ON Dec-23-01 AT 08:45 PM (EST)Well I haven't really delved into them much but I'd imagine that like every other object they simply have a day texture, and a night texture (and in other objects a snow texture, fall textures, etc) The night texture has transparent light pool at bottom the day texture does not... so there is probably no way to fix those. For the one yo said stays on 24 hour you could try opening it in TSM if you have it and painting over the light and saving it as a day texture and editing it's files and ref entries...-Andy

Dec-24-01, 03:51 AM (EST) 5. "RE: Yard Light Timing" well i have a little experience on that Switch and i have found it to be not useful, the trains seems to be Jerky going into the Sidings, so i have been using the 10 Degree Lft or Rgt Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-24-01, 09:55 AM (EST) 6. "RE: Yard Light Timing" I agree... I guess I'll just revert to using 10degree switches as the minimum. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
