I believe the editor is per default at the highest detail level, but it could be that you are running MSTS at lower level.Brinch Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-15-01, 03:57 PM (EST) 3. "RE: Geting building to work" Have you checked the detail level ? I just opened RE and did a check on a few random buildings and they varied in detail level from 0 (stations) to 7 (ordinary house). I believe the default detail level is set when you compile the 3D model. So it might be the problem unless you have your graphics settings in MSTS max'ed out.
If thats's not the problem then I don't know..

Dec-15-01, 04:09 PM (EST) 4. "RE: Geting building to work" All the other replies are on the money. You have to check the "detail level" of EVERY OBJECT you place including street lights, buildings, clutter, etc. You have to set them at a number equal to or LOWER THAN the detail level you have set to run your program on startup. This can, of course, be changed by you so that some objects won't show up (this increases your frame rate). As noted by another reply there seems to be no consistent assignment of numbers to the objects so you have to be careful to check each one in the lower right hand corner when placing them.
