Dec-14-01, 10:31 AM (EST) "I use the BNSF intelocking signals. I have about 15 passing sidings. " The red pyramids disappear about as fast as put them in. I have about 90 signals. Four or five always seem to go missing. I reinstal the signals and I loose a few somewhere else. What do I do?

Maybe it's like the Activity Editor and needs a jump start every now and then. Other than that... this is the first I've heard of such a thing.Completely guessing.Rich Garber Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-14-01, 04:57 PM (EST) 2. "RE: I use the BNSF intelocking signals. I have about 15 passing sidings. " I reinstalled MSTS. No help. But a missing box car that I have been seeing on a siding appeared in the activity editor so I was able to get rid of it. The VCR now works. I am going to remove the water that is near the signals and see if that works. Does anyone know if dynamic track eats signals?

Dec-14-01, 05:04 PM (EST) 3. "RE: I use the BNSF intelocking signals. I have about 15 passing sidings. " Well now there's an odd occurence. You say you had a box car showing up in the game that wasn't showing up in the activity editor? That sounds a little like you made some track changes with activities already created. I did something like that too. I made some changes to Glennville Supply (EMRR) and I didn't think about some of the activities already made having box cars on the track. The track was shifted over a little ways. I would get this error in the game that something was out of place, but you know me, I blamed the game. Not that this helps your situation directly but you might want to retrace your steps and remember if you did something to cause this situation. I wouldn't think with all the signals in the NEC that there was some kinda limit. I guess we all could go into the thing and count'em. I think I know just the guy to do it too... Do you think the signals have to be put in in pairs. I can put a signal in, turn the camara around and it is still there, then go out of the editor and come back in and it is gone. It must be the order that I do things. The problem will be cured in one area and then pop up in another.
