Dec-14-01, 01:46 AM (EST) "Route Geometry extractor" I am trying to design my first route & have diligently followed the instructions. When I have dragged a rectangle around my selected area, all I get when I right click in it is the Zoom-in & Zoom-out options,. The other commands are grayed out. Can somebody please help me with this dilemma? Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-14-01, 04:21 AM (EST) 2. "RE: Route Geometry extractor" thats quite right - you have to create the quad tree first, then the other commands become available. Watch, as well, when you drag your rectangle start in the top left corner of it and drag down and right - otherwise it doesn't seem to know you've drawn one.CheersDave C Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-16-01, 09:41 PM (EST) 3. "RE: Route Geometry extractor" Thanks for the replies. I must havie been doing something wrong with thw Quadtree. Due to a technical problem I had to re-install TrainSim, and now everything is OK. I am often impressed by the amount of detail. My local rail sytem is all there, though the Latitudes are a few trivial minutes out.
Cheers
