Dec-06-01, 09:53 PM (EST) "NYCTA R Route" Yesterday, I made a futile attempt at using Dark BASIC to write my own NYCTA subway simulator. Dark BASIC is a programming language for creating computer games. Today, I reinstalled MSTS and created experimental version of NYCTA R Route from 95th Street in Brooklyn to 71st Avenue in Queens. The route is on ground level instead of underground and the tracks are straight from 95th Street to 71st Avenue. I want to create underground subway stations and tunnels but a bug in Train Sim Modeler causes 3D models that have object axis placed at end to disappear as you move around the "scene" and a VERY serious bug in either 3D Canvas Pro or NVIDIA video driver causes 3D Canvas to reboot my computer running Windows XP. The author of 3D Canvas Pro is trying to fix the bug but I think that NVIDIA won't help him fix the bug. He told me that he is using ATI 3D graphics card for now. How does MSTS run on computer that has ATI 3D graphics card? Which ATI 3D graphics card is best? I would swap hard disk drives (in DataPort cartridges) and boot my computer to Windows ME but I can't trust Windows ME. Jeffrey. Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
