Dec-02-01, 10:26 AM (EST) "PO & N" I would love to have a complete map of this wonderful route which includes all the sidings and industries, so that I could find my way around easier. I could make it myself, but it would take me forever. Can anyone help? Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-02-01, 04:30 PM (EST) 1. "RE: PO & N" LAST EDITED ON Dec-02-01 AT 04:31 PM (EST)That's always the rub with packaging a route, how much to include without ballooning the zip file up too much. If you look in the \PortOgden4\1Maps&Docs&Hacks\maps folder you'll find an overall route map, plus a few smaller detailed ones covering the areas that I considered to be easiest to get lost in. Making your own maps doesn't have to take forever tho, open up one of the activities in the activity editor, right click in the map window to zoom in, left click to drag the map around, and when you get the detail level you want in the area you're interested in, hold down the ALT key and hit the print screen. (keyboards are different, mine is next to scroll lock and says "PrtSc/SysRq" on it) Then open up paintbrush or whatever image editor you use, click on "edit, paste" then save the picture or print it out.
The maps that I did include are in JPG format, if you have nothing else that will read JPEGs, any web browser, Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, etc., will view and print jpg files. With the maps I did include plus a few of your own covering whatever areas you find hardest to navigate, you should be finding your way around in no time. Oh yeah, don't be afraid of the activity editor, if you exit without saving the activity you can't screw anything up. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Dec-02-01, 07:13 PM (EST) 2. "RE: PO & N" Thank you very much sniper297. That info was exactly what I was looking for. I printed up about 15 additional expanded maps just the way you outlined it for me. Thanks again. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
