Nov-29-01, 08:37 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Route Building" Added terrain normally defaults to zero elevation, so it may be your existing terrain is so high you can't see the added terrain.Move the camera near the edge of the existing terrain, raise it up at least 10 meters, and select the terrain mode. You should then see a bunch of tile squares. You'll probably see the squares for the new terrain down at sea level. Select one of those squares in terrain mode and set the elevation for that tile to match the settings for the existing terrain. You may have to raise the lower level to a higher setting to force the ground up, but after that you can the reset the levels accordingly. The ground should stay where you forced it.There's a lot of additional detail in the forum on this subject if you use the search function.Good luckBill Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Nov-29-01, 09:18 PM (EST) 2. "RE: Route Building" Did you generate the tiles? You don't mention that. Open the help screen and go to RGE and then create a new route. Follow the steps and your guranteed to succeed.David Klemm

Dec-01-01, 00:07 AM (EST) 4. "RE: Route Building" Did you remember to set a start tile so you enter the editor on one of those 25 tiles? If not you can go back into RGE and set it on your quadtree. Otherwise you start in neverneverland.-Andy

Dec-01-01, 03:13 PM (EST) 5. "RE: Route Building" you need to go back into the route geometry extracter and put the mouse on the start point of you route then look down at the bottom of the page and you should see the lon. and lat.
write it down and go back to the route editer and after it gets done loading,on the little windows on your right theres one near the bottom that says camera at the top that box has a lon. and lat.in it simply backspace the old lon. lat. and type in the new one that you wrote down then hit jump it should bring you wright to the edge of you land. daniel Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
