Nov-27-01, 05:53 PM (EST) "Use of the " Y " switch in RE." Hello Routebuilders,A couple off days ago I started on my first route using real DEM data. The route initially started on a flat terrain but then came some hills! Using a long straight track piece and then hitting the Y..... Now there is a big hole in the hill... Oops...My guestion in fact: When do you use the Y key? Or do you try to follow the terrain as much as possible? (without having an excessive grade of course...)And also, when you want to give the track some slope. How much is the max. you can use between 2 pieces to make it smooth?Filip.
