Nov-24-01, 09:11 AM (EST) "Flatlands route trouble!" I downloaded the route as planned. But when I tried to click on the run box nothing happens. it also came with a RUNME1st box. I tried that first but nothing there either. Can someone help me out. The directions say its an updated version with fixed errors in the bat. file. Shouldn't it work then? Nov-25-01, 05:57 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Flatlands route trouble!" Does it come with a readme?
If it doesn't have a self-installer the readme will give you all the installation instructions (usually anyhow, and hopefully in your native tongue). Look for a .txt or .doc file with install instructions. If you don't have file extensions turned on in your folder options on windoze do so. It will help you identify what opens the file you're unsure about. I'd DL it and check for you but the train-sim servers have been slower than a Shay.-Andy

Nov-26-01, 10:43 PM (EST) 3. "RE: Flatlands route trouble!" At first I ran the installers that came with the route, but I kept getting the "Trainworld Initialization" error and MSTS would bomb out. Then I copied the "stuffit.bat" from the NewWorld install and ran it from the Flatlands directory. After the bat file finished copying, everything worked okay.Henry Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
