Nov-20-01, 07:33 AM (EST) "NEC v2.1 offer" I have not been able to figure out how to package my NEC v2.1 route in such a way as to get it to unpack and run in either my NEC v2.0 or a clean installation of the default NEC.The error I get is "train world initialization failure" about 25% into the simulation loading progress bar. If anyone has any input please get it to me.I want to release v2.1 but am at a standstill. Please help.Thanks

It didn't work as I have the latest drivers for my video card (Geforce2-MX) which the M$ article indicated was the probable cause for the 'train world initialization failure' message.I'm not sure how to proceed at this point except that I'll check in here from time to time to see if any light has been shed on this in the forums.Again thanks for your inputBill Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Nov-28-01, 07:17 AM (EST) 4. "RE: NEC v2.1 offer" Unfortunately it seems that my efforts are wasted. Last night I tried to reload my backup copy of NEC v2.1 into MSTS to work on it some more. I had uninstalled it recently after having constant problems getting it to unpackage from the zip file that I was going to upload.When I tried to copy the NEC v2.1 file it stopped transfering after 46 mb and said that it couldn't read from the CD drive. This seems to be the end of TS for me, I'm out of ideas and FS2002 is soooooo nice...With regrets
