Nov-13-01, 03:20 PM (EST) "How to place bridges with track through water?" How do I place a bridge and trackage through water? Can I span any length and depth of water or gorge?Do I lay track first, or bridge first?Do I have to build a special bridge to span the distance and depth required?I currently have only the default bridges installed. Adjust the track elevation to whatever you want it to be. Once the track is in place you just need to add whatever bridge object(s) you need. this can be the time-consuming part until you get used to it. Since absolutly nothing in MSTS is loadbearing your bridge piers don't even need to touch the underlying terrain if they are hidden by your water. I make longer bridges by combining shorter pieces end to end.NickF Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
