Nov-13-01, 02:57 PM (EST) "What is the terrain object setting used for?" I've just begun building my own route and have noticed while placing different objects in the route that there is a check mark for "TERRAIN OBJECT".What is the meaning of this? What does it do? What can be done with this setting? Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

It changes how the track texture displays over the bridge. Using this option makes the track show properly, otherwise the texture will not show over the bridge. But, there could be instances where that would be a good thing. Some bridges are concrete, and there are concrete runners which the rails sit on, instead of the usual gravel and railroad ties. This could be simulated by not using the "Terrain Object" setting.Other than that, I don't know what else it would be used for.John Greenstone Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
