Nov-13-01, 00:44 AM (EST) "Alton & Southern Route" Here are some of the very first shots of the A&S Route I have started to build. The Alton & Southern is a 22 mile belt railway running North to South in East St. Louis, Ill. St. Louis railfans know this line well and will recognize the area I have started at as Lenox Tower, the end of the line in the North, where A&S connects with UP and NS along Ill. Highway 203.

Right along 203, the tracks run next to the road for almost 3 miles. Lenox Tower

"RE: Alton & Southern Route" looks great so far!Kinda has that mid-west, feel to it!You gonna add some "Girder" bridges to your route?Would be nice to see some tall grass,or Reeds along track-side.Once tsm is released I'm sure you'll see alot of new foliage and brush,and all kinds of track-side add-ons produced.How many scale miles is your route? Hmmmm... maybe I'll leave the bushes out, that crap messes up your shots every summer.


This train blasted by Pontoon Rd. going at least 60mph.

The bushes strike again!!! This folige was promptly destroyed(by me)before the next train arrived.

Got at least one car going
