Nov-12-01, 00:14 AM (EST) "Realism Add-On for the Metro..... in beta" Rich Foley has integrated some fine features into the EMRR. Up for Beta shortly (as soon as I can get the website switched over). Realism features include: (see ad below)

Nov-12-01, 00:25 AM (EST) 1. "RE: Realism Add-On for the Metro..... in beta" Sounds good to me, however I wonder if these will affect activities (both original and user-created)?Longhairedwizard Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Nov-12-01, 00:41 AM (EST) 2. "RE: Realism Add-On for the Metro..... in beta" First, now the add-on is availablewww.edmfamily.com/msts/index.htmSecond,Yes, it will affect activities but only in the sense the way the motive power operates. Nothing else. It won't affect paths or anything like that. Those who had front coupling problems should be able to do front coupling without the computer going beserk. The features are braking, sound, coupling and directional lighting. There's a roll-back feature included. HOWEVER, not tested yet. Say beta. The roll-back should allow you to return to the original Metro installation. It creates a backup of the files replaced encrypted in a such a way that only the roll-back feature understands. It will create a folder in the MSTS root called _BACKUP_ You can delete it if you want but you won't be able to roll back. One last warning.. the default gp38 is effected. But only the sounds. The original sound files are included in the installation as ***** org along with the new sound files. If all else fails you can restore the GP38 to its original without too much trouble.A new folder is created in the Metro route folder called Realism Package. All the readme's are contained in it.I think that's all I need to tell ya.Rich Garber Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
