hello , I'm French and a newbie to this ring with a bad english.First , tanks to Olivier 101 for is good explain of DEM DTED-0 extract mode ( FRANCE was only found in DTED-0 ). ----------------------------I would like to understand better how jZander have donein is " mountain-Line through the Blackforest in Germany " to prepare a marker file by aid of digitalised 1:50000 maps forrivers ( where to find them for FRANCE ? ) and to lyd tracks for the river with the corrected elevations ( repeat the same proceder for the rail tracks and the main roades ) .I want to make a new french route , got all about DEMs, but I don't know realy how to do , instead I read most of answersmessages .Tanks to jZanker , Olivier 101 and everyone who like to answer me , and for all the others route-designers that will use it .
