Hit F3 then drag triangle to desired location.
Note: The traffic in the game will travel in the opposite direction to the white line traveling along the spawner. If you want to make it travel the other way, select the other triangle and drag it through the first one to desired location. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Oct-18-01, 11:47 PM (EST) 3. "RE: Car spawner question" There is a length limit of 2000 meters. The sim won't tell you that you are at the limit, but the marker won't go any further. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Nov-29-01, 07:04 PM (EST) 4. "RE: Car spawner question" Hi folks-
I think this is my first post on this forum. I'm usually at the Train-Sim forum.
I was going to ask a question, but did a search, first.
Found my answer.
The Car Spawner has a maximum lenght of 2000 meters.
That's why I can't run it as far as it needs to go.
Can this limit be changed?
To try and compensate, I added another spawner slightly ahead of the where the other one stopped, heading the same direction.
This is a 4 lane road I'm working with. I set a spawner NB on 1 lane. Where the game stopped me, is where I started the next one.
Did the same thing SB.
I ran the activity, and everything looked good.
Went back to the Route Editor, to add more spawners for the other 2 lanes, and it wouldn't load the extention spawners. Only the spawners maxed out at 2000 meters.
Any kind of work-arounds for this? I'd hate to have to redo this:The Bridge:
End of spawner
Start of spawner
Gotta find bridges here.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Nov-29-01, 07:52 PM (EST) 5. "RE: Car spawner question" Try rebooting and give it a try. Should be working. I've done similar stuff there at Big City with the spawners. I would think you just had a memory problem.Do those folks up there have a guard rail? I'd be pretty nervous driving that bridge! Next question... what do plan to use as supports for the two ramps leading up to the top of the bridge?Rich Garber Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Nov-30-01, 07:51 PM (EST) 6. "RE: Car spawner question" I worked with that area for awhile and got fed up, so I brought in the heavy equipment, and came up with this:
The engineers are still working on a highway bridge.
It looks like mix-&-match.
