Oct-10-01, 03:14 PM (EST) "250 Meter Single Track Curves!!!" If anyone's interested, here's how to do the 250M Radius 10d Single Track Curve:Before you start, back up tsection.dat, don't blame me if you don't.Put this entry in the tsection.dat:
(241 is a spare number on the bottom, make sure you delete the line: TrackShape ( 241 )

Oct-10-01, 04:06 PM (EST) 2. "RE: 250 Meter Single Track Curves!!!" OK, I have all 250 meter single track curves working, if you want to beta-test the files before I post them, just reply, UNDER ONE CONDITION: You backup you tsection.dat file FIRST!!!
Then if the game crashes, NO HARM DONE, just restore the backup, I have made a route of these pieces and ran trains on them, they do work, but I would like some others to test them before I post them, if possible...Rob Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

I got the 10 degree curve to work just fine, but I tried to do the same for the other two it didn't work, so I must be missing something. This evening, I'll be sending out copies of the files to everyone who asks, when I receive feed-back on success or failure, I'll post it to the files section, in the meantime, I'm adding in some other track sections, if others are willing, I'll add all of them into one package with credit to others who have contributed. That is pretty much what Dynamic track is for. It actually works well if you follow some simple guidelines:No more than one piece, no back to backs.
