Oct-04-01, 06:56 PM (EST) "What? Another free route? =-)" You betcha! Our latest thing in development? The Aurora Mining Company (working title for now).
Features 46 tiles from Minnesota data, with lakes and rivers and high country. About 35-45 miles of track - sparse but interesting scenery - good framerates - great for passenger runs in your F7 ABBA Superchief consist, and will feature an ore mine and slick repaints!Stay tuned for more. Pictures on the way. Dedicated website for the route on the way too.Kern Pegg - Peggware Enterprises DEM Terrain Experts

Oct-05-01, 08:38 AM (EST) 1. "RE: What? Another free route? =-)" A while back in one of your posts was mention of a Washington State set. Where and when? I'm hoping for the area from Tacoma towards Mt. Rainier, (S-SE) Puyallup, Orting, Buckley, Wilkeson etc. Great terrain from tidewater to mountains, with many rail lines, and much historic stuff. The original NP main from back east came this way. Also coal mines, logging RR's etc.Steve Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Oct-05-01, 11:32 AM (EST) 2. "RE: What? Another free route? =-)" Provide me an email to dem-xtractor@peggware.com with the following, and I can consider it. Washington is still a couple months away, but since you asked, perhaps you'll be the one that determines the route!using www.mapblast.com, provide the following:(1) in decimal degrees provide the lat/long of the starting point for the route, and the picture of the location generated by mapblast, zoomed in enough to see the rail lines(2) as above, but for the ending point of the route.using other resources like yahoo and searching for "washington county map"(3) for the starting point, provide the county the route starts in(4) the county the route ends in(5) the counties the route travels through
Thanks!Kern Pegg - Peggware Enterprises DEM Terrain Experts
