Sep-22-01, 01:16 PM (EST) "Just a Thought" Well Hell, I've been thinking about this after I finish with my beta Seattle-Tacoma Route, you think we outta just Rebuild Marias Pass in general? I'm willing to, and since we have the track and textures it wouldn't be to hard would it? Brian E. Bundridge

Sep-22-01, 03:43 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Just a Thought" could you (if you tackle it)include the Sweetwater Subdivision, there are a couple of grain elevators,up that way and I like grain operations when I don't want to work on my freelance Flagstaff & Northern Route. Since I'm not as up to date with this area as I would like to be,does sweetwater interchange with any Canadian Line? Interchange is an intregal part of seamlesss rail service. On my Line set in the transition era,My High Desert Mountain Line, interchanges with the AT&SF. Rail Operations will include Loads out/empties in,Mine Switching+Raw Logs to Sawmill, cut and cured Lumber to interchange with Class 1 Railroad, the AT&SF Junction will have plenty of Mainline Traffic, Covered Wagons (F-units)zebra striped RS2's and GEEPS? (GP7's SD7's as soon as available and in Zebra stripe) Driving trains through developed routes keeps me aware of what works,as well as the activities, and also what can be improved,my route is for men who grew up in small towns with a few industries, mines logging, and two Railroads, alot of these same men were part time ranchers,I will add Stock Pens and do the stock trains as an added activity. this is a route where the men wake up early and walk across to the yard, have a coffee and a few smokes while the hostlers bring there engines up to steam, they find out what happened at mine number 3 on the grave yard shift, and just how many cars are going to go up the hill,so activities are career orientated, car cycles are short and sweet (like grain ops) there will be a daily mixed passenger train(Jct Turn) with the pacific, untill an old 4-4-0 modern is done,or an SP M-9 mogul, this brings goods to the small towns and passengers to the AT&SF junction to shop,or go on to chicago or LA.
