Sep-21-01, 05:35 PM (EST) "DEM-Ex - Where can I find it?" First may I thank everyone who contributes to the forum. I have learned a great deal by reading the various threads. I hope I am not asking for information which has already been provided many times before but I have searched in vain for Dem-Ex. Can anyone explain where to find it? The first one produced many threads, one of which was this one:http://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/DCForumID6/1100.htmlThe second ("dem-ex") produced 12 threads. One this one, and the very first thread according to date was this one:http://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/DCForumID6/1100.htmlAs you can see, both searches produced the very same thread containing the file to download. LawrenceI might have known that you would be the one to reply to my call for help - thank you.In my defence, I had tried searching several times and would agree with you that "my searching ability needs tuning up". However, after receiving your reply I tried searching again until I found the thread you referred to and I eventually succeeded. What I had been doing wrong was to limit the search to the last three months (heeding the on screen warning that searching all topics might take a while). Even though the original message from John was dated Aug 11 the search was only successful if I searched on all dates. I repeated my searches several times to satisfy myself that my conclusions were correct.Do you normally search on All Dates? Therefore, I do not have to choose the forum.I then type in my search terms and click on the Search Now button.
