Sep-01-01, 01:40 PM (EST) "Incremental Tile Addition and DEM-EX" I am working on a small section of the Louisville and Indianapolis mainline. Meaning I have only extracted a few tiles from RGE and applied the DEM-EX program to those tiles. Later I will want to add more tiles to this route but the DEM-EX program will apply the DEM data to all of my tiles and not the newly extracted ones.Does anyone have a solution to this besides copying the old tiles to a temporary location (leaving only the newly extracted tiles) and then applying DEM-EX? I do not want to have to redo all of my terrain modifications.JohnCS - Could the above idea be made into a feature of your program. Could DEM-EX include an option to only update tiles that do not contain your "watermark/signature"?Brian Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

But, you have made elevational changes to some of the 9, and if you use DEMEX on it, Blooey! Right? So what to do?Copy (not move) those files representing the 9 files into another directory. Increase the number of times. Run DEMEX on it. Copy BACK the original 9 files. Voila! Slicker than water on ice!Lawrence Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
