Aug-29-01, 06:04 PM (EST) "Logging?" Has any one thought about a logging railroad? I would try it but I have no idea what i'm doing. I could get some great photos if anyone's up for it.Matt

We have a large MacMillan-Blodel logging facility at one end of the route, and various river-side logging industries (and trucking industries) that follow along the route.Check out our photo galleries for details, especially around the Hatzic and Port Haney areas in the galleries.Kern Pegg - Route Developer

The line I am recreating, The Siskiyou Line, has PLENTY of log mills and loging facilities on the route. The line will probably not be done until late this year or early next year.
