Aug-29-01, 04:32 AM (EST) 1. "RE: SMS error message" I had exactly that problem a few days back. In my case the following was the cause and cure.I wanted an electric version of Marias Pass (to run the excellent Swedish Ore Train). After cloning the USA2-route I went on to edit the new routes properties in the Geometry Extractor (setting electric attribute and wire height). After that I got the same symptom, both in Route Editor and Game.I’m at work right now and don’t have the exact info. But towards the end of the .TRK file, a line containing the keyword DIESEL and possibly DEFAULT and having a value indicating a .SMS file can be seen. After editing the GeoExtractor had added some new lines in that location with other default sounds. The values between brackets were all empty, and removing the new lines cured the problem. So basically what you got is a line somewhere with an empty sound value. Hope this is some help to You./ Tommy
