Aug-27-01, 10:51 AM (EST) 4. "RE: what happened here. " remove these files:
yourroute.tdb and yourroute rdb from your routes route directory.
Place them somewhere else for now.
Then re-build route database. This works about 80 % of the time.
If it works you can delete the *.rdb and *.tdb because the db will create new ones.

Aug-27-01, 01:16 PM (EST) 6. "RE: what happened here. " ok i found the *.rdb *.tdb files and moved them. where is the rebuild track database option? i searched the route editor the route geomatry extractor and the activity editor and the trainsim filder for *.exe files. can't find it.

Aug-27-01, 03:00 PM (EST) 7. "RE: what happened here. " when i remove these files and start the route editor it wants to delete objects like a couple of car spawners and siding markers. when i do i loose the track DB markers and it only creates a tdb file when i save. i go back into the editor and the track db markers are still missing even though i have the option checked.
and all the track, buildings and roads past the picture still gone.nighthawk1 Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Be careful when changing track- remove signals and milemarkers abd anything else on the tracks first then take out the track piece. Save often. At first I had many problems with route editor and I still do but you learn as you go. It can be very prissy if u know what I mean. Make backups too. Good luck and don't give up.
