Aug-25-01, 11:24 AM (EST) 2. "RE: help with dem tools " All the info you need for MicroDEM and DEMEX is found in RGE when you create the original tiles for the route. When you move the cursor around the tiles of your route in RGE the coordinate show up in the bottom of the window. You didn't mention the Route Geometry Extractor (RGE) program so I am assuming that you haven't created your route yet in RGE and so have no tiles to work with.When you go into Route Geometry Extractor (RGE), first open the HELP file and find 'extract new route' and follow the instructions. If you are modeling a real road, which it sounds like you are, it will be on the map and the HELP instructions will walk you through creating the tiles for it. THEN you replace the tiles created in the RGE by using DEMEX to insert the data created in MicroDEM.David Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
