Aug-23-01, 01:12 PM (EST) "Combined Shapes, Textures, ETc." This is mainly for our Guru at Microsoft, but others may have this problem.Everything went pretty much okay, but when I was checking to be sure that I had copied the necessary track material out of the Global Shapes folder, I found that my Global folder had this file:a1t1500r10drgttun.sd, but did not have the required "s" file to go with it. I am expecting (at least) this error when I use the editor.I elected to build my combined directories on another disk drive, rather than in the template directory. It's a little more work, but allows be to do a back up of the combined material once I am satisfied (I'll burn a ROM of it for backup). Once I am satisfied I may then put it into the template directory.I would strongly urge Microsoft to come up with a patch, replacement or whatever, that allows all of this material to go in the Global directory structure so that both the editor and then run-time process can access it there. Not only would it save on disk requirements, but it should provide a simpler structure as well.If any of you that read this have the above missing file, I would appreciate a E-mail copy of it.J. H.
