Aug-22-01, 00:36 AM (EST) "Track File Data Error???? Can anyone help???" I've been working on this layout for 2 weeks now.... I added
a couple more pieces of track, went to "FILE", "SAVE", and
I get that damned send/don't send error message.....
Restart the route editor, and now I get this "Failed to load
track database", and then "Track database read failed" ....
and then I'm booted out of the editor.....Does anyone know how I can fix this?
Only had 50+ miles of track layed out, with a complete
city, and bla bla bla.......But really, I hate to loose this one........Patrick Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

You need all files in the route directory, the world and the tiles directory. You could start trying to rebuild the track database, selecting this option when loading your route at the start of the editor. If this doesn't help you may try to delete your route's .rdb .tit .tdb .rit file and renaming the backup files in the route directory (the ones with the tildes ~ and the ending .bk) Reload the route. If this doesn't help delete the file in the world directory which you modified last. You may loose some work in there, but you can go on with the remaining. Also there is a backup .bk which you could try to use after deleting the actual version.Hope this helpsDaniel Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
