Now that I could upgrade my graphics card, I'm playing with Kosmos, for now its effects are seen very deeply. Flashes and Lightning are seen over and over, delightful! What I would like to ask to Jeff or anyone who knows, is: where can I find other environments, out of these from the libraries? Is there a special website where they upload their custom environments?, or just the ones in the libraries? At the libraries I found many good Sounds for the environments, but not many environments kits.(Otherwise, I'll try to create my own.)Regards...
You should be sure and download the How In The World environments (Sky Conductor!) from the www.howintheworld.com/skies/ site. Jak Fearon has packaged these especially for Kosmos. But at this point there are no others, except for ones you might put together yourself. I've got a couple of new ones, especially one with great running mountain stream water that I made for Charlie's Silverton route. But another environment that I'm working on has got me stymied. And I guess I just feel I'd like to put a few together if I'm going to publish them in the library. Also, my wife and I moved last summer, and that so completely disrupted my life that I'm still recovering!Jeff
Jeff:Thank you for your post.Yes, I did have the Sky Conductor! skies of Kosmos, and some more. At the libraries I found many others uploaded by Michael Sinclair, I was not sure if they were made as Kosmos Environments, but now I read their files and I know they're ready to be added in. With all this, we have a great collection, and I think there's no need for much more. No doubt new delightful sounds will be launched, and I'll wait for them. Now I have all the tools needed, even to create my own environments. And a lot to practice with.I wish you the best now at your new home, specially at the end of this year and a much better 2005!
