How far away from a locomotive or caboose you can set a tethered camera?Second, I don't recall seeing a spotter camera in use as defined in a world tile. If anyone knows of one, could they either post an example of it's definition or at least identify which route so I could look it up myself.TIA.Dave NelsonWP mainline, Oakland-Stockton: 100% complete; SP mainline, Oakland-Stockton: 20% complete; Aug 1950 <<new .sig under construction>>
Dave:You can set them for any distance or angle. For instance, my #2 view is set for 300m in front of and looks at the front of the engine, and 100m high. Used mostly to check signal for opposing traffic if I have a red, then swing around to look for the traffic.John In memory of: CYNDI RICHARDS 1938 * 2004 You will always be here with us.
Thanks, that helps me on some things.Funny the things you remember... that web page you sent me to comes up and what flashes in my head is not "this will be helpful" but instead "That's a George L Beam photograph of the WP taken in the Utah desert, sometime between 1910 and 1920". And I turn to my wife, who was about to leave for the office, and say "I gotta get out more". 8-)Dave NelsonWP mainline, Oakland-Stockton: 100% complete; SP mainline, Oakland-Stockton: 20% complete; Aug 1950 <<new .sig under construction>>
