I was having troubles adding objects to the Monon Rte and got that squared away with assistance from the forum. Unfortunately, I got to a point where I created a dreaded "great white void". Not sure why this happened, but a re-install of the Monon is called for. Now I am having a glitch getting the Monon back up and running. I have a good copy of it burned on CD. When I install the route and run the batch file I get nothing in the menu for the route. It's not there. The folder is definitely in the right place in the MSTS route folder and appears to have all it's subfolders. When I look for it in the RE it is listed, but I get "failed to load track database".I've tried to re-download it and install it from the file library, but I get the same results. This has me stumped. My other routes are behaving themselves. Any suggestions? Thanks, James
I recently downloaded RouteRiter. Now, I confess to essential ignorance of how this very impressive utility functions but I did manage to run my Monon Route through the thing. It came up with 4 pages of problems that it corrected (how does it *do* that?) but I am still not seeing Monon in the route selection screen and get the same error message in the RE......James
IIRC the problem you are describing is caused by a problem with the route .tdb file, as this is how MSTS recognizes the route. Check and see if the .tdb file is read-only. MSTS seems not to like read-only files and most CD burning programs change all the files burned to read-only. Ken
