Is it possible to modify the change height operation so that a function could be used to convert a route like LTV from meters to feet so the grades would be more realistic?Regards,Eric
You mean you don't want to do it manually? I started doing it manually on the LTV about 9 months ago, but then stopped so I could work on my route (which is finally nearing completion). Even if this is a possibility, all of the track would need to be re-laid.Shawn

And here I was going to do this as my next project. Guess you beat me to it. My question is will this be a 3rd party freeware upgrade (requiring ownership of the original version), or will this be a new payware route? Thanks.Shawn
Hello,Until now, TSUtil can only add a fix value to all height values of a route. If a conversion of height-values to feet is requested, this must be a new function, which has to be created and programmed. (Multiply all height values and scales by 3.28)It this really requested by users? However, if such a function is available, it will convert height-values of tracks, too. So they need not to be re-laid.regards carloshr
Hi carloshr,I'm not aware of any other route where a function like this might be needed. Since this route is being rebuilt the function would not be of much use unless some route builders might see a value in having it available. If others see a need for it, I would envision it taking the form of selecting a datum value in the route and then adjusting all other values from that value in both negative and positive directions.Regards,Eric
