I've finally had the time to download and install Marias Pass 3.1, and now the MSTS software crashes as it loads (almost halfway through the loading process). I had previously upgraded MSTS to the version offered on the Microsoft website (April 2002 -- supposedly Version 1.2, although it states Version 1.16.etc.). I downloaded and installed 3.1 (all seven parts) and its fix in accordance with the instructions provided. I also downloaded, unzipped and placed XTracks in the Routes folder.I know this may all seem basic (and old hat) for most of you, but I'm stumped and wondering what to do next. I also have Tehachapi and Kicking Horse Pass loaded. Until this point, everything has been running just fine. I've not seen anything recent in this forum to help me out. Did I miss something? Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.Craig

You might want to crank it through RouteRiter. That's the first thing I do after installing a new route is to have RR do a check on it.

RE: Marias Pass 3.1 System Crash

Check your install of XTracks, IIRC the XTracks installs into the Shapes folder in the Global folder and NOT the routes folder. The problem you are describing is common with the wrong install of XTracks.Ken

How did I survive before MSTS
