Has anyone else downloaded Nick Kelsey's Homeblks.zip file? I have added them to my route, but get the nag "missing ace file HB500ft.ace". I have looked into the zip file and there is no ace file in there by that name. Anyone who has it, I would appreciate a copy of, as this seems to be a great way to add houses.

I have the same problem. Missing HB500ft.ace.Hopefully the author (Nick Kelsey) will upload this missing .ACE file so we can enjoy the work that went into Homeblocks. Thanks Nick for the new block of homes. It should help in laying out a town.Glenn

RE: Homeblks.zip file

I am having that problem too. I wonder if the ace file is already there but maybe some kind of typo; not HB500ft.ace but HB1500ft.ace?

RE: Homeblks.zip file

Nope...I uncompressed the .s file and under "images" all the ace files listed were there except the HB500ft.ace. This is why MSTS is asking for it when to try to load it. Apparently it was made with this .ace file but he forgot to include it when he packaged it. He didn't leave any way to contact him via his readme file, and he must not have seen this thread yet. I'm hoping he'll pop it soon, as I am anxious to give them a try.

RE: Homeblks.zip file

I just wanted to get this question back in circulation. There were many downloads of Homeblocks: did everyone else not have trouble with it? I'm hoping Nick (the designer) will notice this subject or if anyone knows his email, we could make contact

RE: Homeblks.zip file

I agree, the texture file for the homes is missing which is a pity, the roads, sidewalks and bushes are all there but no houses...Mike

RE: Homeblks.zip file

Thanks Nick! Gawd, for the life of me, I could not remember your screen name! Gotta file this one away; with the quality of your work, I don't want to forget who you are. Thanks again for the comeback and I'll be looking forward to more fine work.
