New and interesting? I guess it depends on how you define interesting....I'm currently working my way north (RR west) from Navajo toward Juanita and Gato, putting in vegetation and the Navajo River. I'm not using the water feature, but have created a 100 m long flat river "plank" that I'm placing as I go. That allows me to vary the grade over the 100m length rather than having a single water gradient over the entire tile.I've also been spending a bit of time making winter terrain textures, and have started some new lettering for the station signs. So it's a bit closer to being done, but there haven't been any major updates to speak of. I still need to generate some terrain, especially around Carracas, and for some areas of distant mountains. It definitely won't be done by Christmas!Happy Thanksgiving, all!Andy
Hey Happy Turkey day to you to Andy!A suggestion about Gato, when I was there early this summer, I noticed the whole area around the siding and tank and where the depot was, there was a lot cinders. Like the whole area had cinders for ballast, like a typical steam yard. Except I wouldn't call Gato a yard.So maybe for Gato, put some black or darker ground textures around the area of the tank. Want me to build a Gato pump house for ya'?Kevin Bush,

First things first, Kevin! I thought you were going to build the Arboles tender water tank - ???I won't turn down any gifts, though. If you want to crank out some custom structures, have at it!As far as the Gato area, I haven't spent much time working there since I laid the track. I'll generate some textures for there as well as Lumberton. I've got some nice pics of that area that show some lush grass near the depot, so that will be another area where there are additional textures.I'm planning on using zero default textures for this route, so it'll be a pretty large one in terms of disk space. I haven't cleaned it out in a while, so there's still a lot of garbage in the folder, but at this point the folder's at 600 MB. This one may not be suitable for downloading!Andy
Glad to see you have telegraph poles in. I started to do that on the Cumbres line, started from Antonito and got as far as Lava, then started at Chama and got as far as Cresco. Then I started doing some weeds and putting some trees down and messing with the terrain a little...constantly saving, then....it crashed. I lost a lot of scenery, that was the 4th time it's happend to me...ah to hell with it.So I am just waiting for your version of the line between Durango and Chama.Kevin Bush,
